Rock climbers from around the world flock to El Portrero Chico in the winter months to enjoy the warm temps and amazing rock climbing Potrero Chico has to offer. The days will be spent on the fantastic multi-pitch limestone rock climbs of Potrero. We will customize an itinerary for you so as to maximize your time to get in as much of the best climbing this area has to offer. We can be flexible to suit your rock climbing goals and abilities.
Our Potrero Chico rock climbing program is run by Mark Grundon, an American AMGA certified rock guide who has been with IAG for many years. Mark works as a rock guide in Yosemite Valley during the summer months and lives in the Potrero Chico area in the winter with his wife and child. Mark has been very active in recent years developing new routes throughout the region surrounding Potrero Chico and knows this area intimately.
We can handle all the lodging and logistics arrangements for you. Our local American rock climbing guide will pick you up from the airport in Monterrey, Mexico. Lodging options range from simple camping to private lodge rooms. For climbers on their own or those with limited time, we can help you experience the best of Potrero Chico rock climbing.

EL POTRERO CHICO ROCK CLIMBING SKILL & EXPERIENCE LEVEL
Participants should have had some previous rock climbing experience. This trip is suitable for intermediate climbers with the ability to follow 5.9 rock climbs.
