ALEX LOMBARDO
Alex Lombardo
Alpine, rock & Ski/snowboard Guide
Alex grew up in Kansas City, MO before migrating west for college. A former collegiate runner, he has largely traded in his running shoes for ski boots and rock shoes in pursuit of good times in the mountains.
As a frequent visitor and occasional resident of the Sierra over the past decade, Alex has skied, climbed, and hiked throughout the Range of Light, from Mt. Langley to Castle Peak. He particularly enjoys introducing guests to both the classic and lesser-known gems of the Eastern Sierra.
Alex guides in the Pacific Northwest during the summer and resides in Bishop, CA during the winter and spring. He has completed the AMGA Rock Guide Course, is a NREMT-registered Wilderness EMT, holds AIARE Level I and Companion Rescue certifications, and is a LNT Trainer. When not in the mountains, Alex can be found reading, cooking, and planning his next alpine stroll.
