Jules is one of the first splitboard guides to gain certification through the American Mountain Guides Association.

His passion for riding in the mountains and sharing experiences continues to lead him on a path of exploration and adventure. His guiding career has been diverse with highlights working as a climbing ranger at Mt Rainier National Park, a mountaineer in Greenland and Antarctica with the National Science Foundation, and a splitboard guide in his home range of the Sierra Nevada with select trips around the world in search of good snow and adventure. He holds a Level III with the American Avalanche Institute and with AIARE (American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education) Jules is Wilderness First Responder and has worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for the Park Service.

Blending work experiences and time spent climbing and riding in the mountains has allowed Jules to offer up ski and splitboard trips with a balance of respect, creativity, and fun.  A great day in the mountains is riding fluid lines on the best snow and sharing stories at day's end.
