Kevin grew up in Columbus, Ohio. A product of Midwestern living his childhood was occupied with stick and ball sports. Immediately after high school Kevin traveled to Vail, Colorado for his first time and immediately became enamored with the mountains. After receiving a BA in History from Ohio Dominican University in the Spring of 2010, he moved to Northwest Colorado as an Ameri-Corps volunteer, working with at-risk in a local middle school.

Upon finishing his year of volunteer work, he would begin teaching environmental education and working in a local ski shop. His time at the Ski Haus encouraged him to climb and ski as much as possible. Soon, Kevin began guiding ice and rock climbing in Steamboat with local outfit Rocky Mountain Ventures. In March of 2017 Kevin relocated to Washington and begin guiding for American Alpine Institute, which has allowed him to guide and instruct in; Alaska, Canada, Washington, Nevada, California and North Carolina.

Kevin relocated to the Eastern Sierra for the winter in search of a dry climate, blue skies, deep powder and pristine Granite. Many folks know Kevin for his positive demeanor, long stride and big lungs, which come in handy during fast and light alpine missions and long expeditions into the mountains. In his free time Kevin enjoy chasing prime conditions for both skiing and climbing. We are psyched to have Kevin on the team!
