Timm grew up in Buffalo, New York. He honed an ability to hold a ski edge on icy race courses before moving on to the snowier pastures of California.
With a greater part of the past decade under his belt in the Sierras, Timm enjoys teaching and sharing with clients the treasures the region offers. Folks remark on his lighthearted style, and patience.
Timm guides on Mount Rainier during the summer months and is with us in Tahoe and the High Sierra this winter. He has taken both the AMGA Ski and Alpine guide course holds a Wilderness First Responder, LNT, and AIARE II certifications. Outside of guiding in the mountains, Timm enjoys surfing and all day breakfast.
