Overview

Book our local AMGA ski guides for a private day of backcountry skiing or snowboarding in the best ski terrain in North Lake Tahoe. Go at your own pace and Lake Tahoe’s most established backcountry ski guiding service. For over 40 years we have been introducing guests to the fabulous backcountry skiing of North Lake Tahoe.

Designed for high intermediate and advanced level resort skiers who are looking to get into the backcountry on skis or a splitboard, and for new backcountry skiers who are seeking private professional training. We can set up just about whatever backcountry skiing objective you have in mind and/or cover any instruction you are looking to gain. Our easy-going local AMGA trained ski guides are always excited to give instruction on avalanche awareness, backcountry skiing & snowboarding skills and to just share local information.

We conduct our private backcountry skiing and split boarding in the Donner Summit and Truckee area including the Donner Peak and Mount Judah area, Castle Peak and Silver Peak next to Squaw Valley. among others... which is clearly the the best that North Lake Tahoe/Truckee area has to offer and some of the most accessible backcountry ski terrain in California.

We include your avalanche safety gear, such as avalanche beach, shovel & probe at no extra charge!

SKILL & EXPERIENCE LEVEL

Required skiing & boarding ability is advanced level at a ski resort. Must be comfortable in un-groomed (powder and crud) conditions. No previous backcountry experience required. Very good physical shape required with the ability to hike uphill for many hours

2 skiers: $365 per person
3 skiers: $295 per person.
4 skiers: $245 per person
5 skiers: $200 per person

Mon – Fri (Not including holidays):

1 skier:           $540 day
2 skiers:          $295  per person
3 skiers:          $250  per person
4 skiers:          $205 per person
5+ skiers:        $185 per person
