DONNER SUMMIT ROCK CLIMBING CLASS OVERVIEW

A day out rock climbing at the fantastic crags of Donner Summit near Truckee, California. If you have never climbed before, just tried it in the climbing gym or it's been a while and you need a refresher, this first course is where to begin. You will learn all the necessary basic climbing knots, belaying, lowering, rappelling and be introduced to both crack and face climbing technique on the superb granite rock climbs at Donner Pass.

Let our American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) certified, or trained, rock climbing guides give you or your group professional and fun training in all aspects of climbing. The AMGA is the premier guides training organization in the United States and the only one recognized by the International Federation of Mountain Guides Assoc. Always look for AMGA trained rock climbing guides.

We have a large number of excellent rock climbs in the Donner Summit area including some of the best beginner rock climbs in California. We meet at 9am up at Donner Summit.
