WILDERNESS FIRST RESPONDER RECERT OVERVIEW

Join us for a 3 day hands on review required to keep Wilderness First Responder skill set up to date and certification current. This is a hands on scenario based course that provides you with realistic learning opportunities to refine assessment and treatments of sick and injured patients in a wilderness setting. We’ll review trauma, medical, environmental, mental health, leadership and decision making topics as well as provide curriculum updates for these topics. This course also includes CPR for the Adult and Child.

Minimum Age: 16

Continuing Education Units:

  • 18 hours of EMT CEUs available at no additional cost.

  • Up to 14 hours towards the Wilderness Medical Society’s Fellowship of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine at no additional cost
